Ahhhh Ain Soph is so delicious, but it's heavy too! I tried the falafel burger this time and, Ain Soph style, it was amazing. I especially loved the cheesy fries; I can't believe the cheese is vegan! The tiramisu also tasted heavenly.
· Apple slices with almond butter. Simple but so delicious. I use Justin’s nut butters, but they use ‘sustainable’ palm oil, so I either have to find another source, give up nut butters, or DIY it.
· Pancakes with strawberry jam. Just put half a cup of flour with a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar, a teaspoon of baking powder, and a half cup of dairy free milk and voila.
· I just put sliced potatoes in a bag of olive oil with some herbs and spices and then baked it. Tomato sauce on top.
· Breakfast is just a cup of iced drip coffee with some unsweetened almond milk and sugar; a pancake (put half a cup of flour with a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar, a teaspoon of baking powder, and a half cup of dairy free milk) with jam; and a smoothie bowl (two ripe bananas blended with a handful of frozen berries, some chia seeds, and some unsweetened almond milk; topped with granola and desiccated coconut).
· A soy mocha from Starbucks. I’m gutted that they stopped serving soy whipped cream : (
· The next three dishes were from Indian restaurants. I usually order the vegetable curry with rice because the naan always has animal products in them. Vegetable samosas are usually vegan too.
· Soy meat, some vegetables, rice, and miso soup from Kobuchi’s Mooring Deck. I hadn’t been there in ages.
